Summer Updates

It's been a while since I posted! It's been a busy summer! Annie's been to two theater camps - the last one being held at the Detroit Opera House, where they put on "The Pirates of Penzance" as a final show - it was wonderful!

Emily has been to Dance Camp, is at Band Camp this week - but her big news is that she is the 2007 National Showcase Teen Light Champion!! She won this title this past Saturday in Fort Collins, Colorado, skating to "Jailhouse Rock".

So, after the competition ended, we drove into the foothills to Estes Park, CO - and lo and behold, my lovely daughter spotted a scrapbook store!!! Unfortunately for me, it was Sunday - so the best I could do was get my picture taken outside!!

SO... in between taxiing kids hither and yon, I've just been getting the bare minimum done - no time for extras like Blog Posts! So I'm sorry to those of you who've been wondering if I've fallen in!!!

I got my scrapbook space spruced up - but the past few weeks with the Colorado trip - I haven't been very productive!! We went to CHA a few weeks ago, and sounds like we're going to have another slate of great classes for 08! I'm really excited about the instructors with whom I spoke! I only got the barest of details - the class proposals aren't due until December - and most are in the early conceptual stages of classes for next year!! I (gulp) forgot to take my camera to CHA - so no photos to share!!

We are getting ready for our 5th Anniversary Retreat Season! We are expecting that both November and April will once again sell out... So if you are hoping to attend one of those weekends, don't delay! $50 holds your space!! We have a lot of great surprises cooked up for this year!!
